The Santa Barbara RC Club(SBRC) is a group dedicated to the enjoyment of building and flying most types of radio-controlled aircraft.  Our current field is located at Elings Park in Santa Barbara. At this location we fly only electric powered aircraft due to space and noise limitations.

Everyone is welcome to come out and watch.  If you are interested, the best time to find a group of pilots is on Tuesdat, Thursday, and Saturday  between 7 and 9 AM.

In addition to mandatory AMA membership, SBRC dues for new members are $50.00 a year. Presently we are not assessing a one-time field charge. Elings Park Members are assessed an annual fee to utilize the flying area.  

Club meeting are held at 6:30 PM on the first Thursday. Visitors are welcome.

We offer free flight instruction and can arrange for any interested parties an introductory lesson using our equipment and aircraft. Contact the club via email to arrange the details.

Santa Barbara Radio Control Modelers, Inc. Terms of Membership  

Membership in the Club is by annual membership fee of $50.00 based upon a January 1st renewal date.  Members may prepay their dues, but no refunds are given.

By joining the Santa Barbara RC Club, you agree to the following:

1. You agree to abide by the terms of the Bylaws of the Club (see "Club Bylaws" );

2. If you host a Club event, such as an open house, you agree that you release the
Club from any and all claims relating to such event;

3. If you attend Club events, you agree to release the Club and the host(s) of Club events from liability at all Club events; and

4. You agree to provide the Club information for the Club to be able to communicate with you.
